Maleficent character from new movie makes special appearance at Rock your Disney Side event

It’s not unusual to see Maleficent in the Disney parks in a show or meeting guests from time to time, but a recent meet and greet with her was very special for a select few.

As a promotion for Disney’s upcoming Maleficent movie, a private meet and greet was held for some lucky guests during the overnight part of the Rock Your Disney Side 24-hour party featuring the Angelina Jolie version of the character. Guests at the park were hand-picked to see this character, along with members of the media and VIPs.

Disney told us there are currently no plans for this version of maleficent to make any more appearances, but if the movie is a success, we wouldn’t be surprised to see her again. .
