Movie Review: ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is everything you want and more
“Avengers: Endgame” gave me everything I wanted to see in a finale for 10 plus years of movies. As you probably already expect, you’ll laugh and cry your way through the movie. Everything you love and expect from a Marvel movie is there. (Well, except for one thing, which we will get to at the end of the review.)
So how do I write a spoiler-free review of such an anticipated movie without giving “anything” away? It’s not easy, but I’ll try my best. But if you’re one of those people who doesn’t want any details and has even avoided the trailers, then why are you reading this? Stop and come back after you’ve seen it.
It’s not a short movie, so be sure to go to the bathroom right before it starts. Although there are some slow parts, slow doesn’t mean skippable. The long length gives them plenty of time to tell the story they want, with plenty of time to show us the aftermath of Thano’s snap. It’s interesting to see how the remaining Avengers are dealing with it.
All the unsnapped characters return, but not all as you remember or expect them. Of course, they’re not going to just accept the loss they’ve been handed without at least trying to reverse things. It’s not as easy as just going back in time, although that does play a role.
Even though I mentioned there are some slow parts, there wasn’t a time when I wasn’t fully invested in the story. I felt like just about every scene was needed and interesting. But no worries, it’s a Marvel super hero movie after all, so there is plenty of action intermixed.
Will they get everyone back? Will they finally defeat Thanos in the process? How will they do it? These are things you’ll just have to see for yourself.
• “Avengers: Endgame” is rated PG-13 and runs just over three hours long. Surprisingly, there are no end credit scenes. But there is a very end credit sound, which could mean something, or not.

In The Parks
There aren’t any specific “Avengers” attractions or lands yet, but you can visit Marvel Super Hero Island at Universal’s Islands of Adventure to ride The Incredible Hulk Coaster and The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man. You can also meet Spider-Man there, as well as Captain America.
On the other coast at Disney California Adventure, you can meet Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Black Widow and Captain America. You can also ride Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout.
Out at sea, check for the next Marvel Day at Sea on Disney Cruise Line. Kids can also meet super heroes such as Spider-Man on certain Disney ships.
Overseas, Universal Studios Japan also has the Spider-Man ride, and Hong Kong Disneyland has an Iron Man ride and a new Ant-Man and the Wasp ride. You can also meet Iron Man there.
