Old Town is bringing Zombie Tag to Central Florida for Halloween.

Old Town, the Kissimmee walking district full of shops, rides, food and entertainment, has added Zombie Tag, a new attraction, to their Halloween event “The Haunt at Old Town.”

Zombie Tag is an interactive experience where guests attempt to survive a zombie apocalypse. Its addition to Old Town marks the first time that the attraction has ever appeared in Central Florida.

Individuals participating in Zombie Tag receive a special badge that indicates if they are human, infected, or have been turned into a zombie. Old Town’s costumed Halloween characters also participate in the game. Zombie Tag runs from 8 to 11 p.m. The duration of each game lasts one hour or until every participant has been turned into a zombie.

“Zombie Tag is an exclusive, unique Halloween attraction only found at Old Town,” said Thearon Scurlock, Old Town General Manager. “We’re happy to offer this to our guests as part of The Haunt along with our other Halloween attractions, including scare zones, haunted mazes, and nightly performances of ‘Thriller.’ Zombie Tag is a thrilling addition.”

As Old Town’s signature Halloween event, The Haunt will last until Oct. 31 and is part of the district’s ongoing countdown to its 30th anniversary celebration in December. The Haunt will be held every Friday and Saturday from 8 p.m. until midnight. For more information about Old Town, visit myoldtownusa.com.
