Orlando Philharmonic to present ‘John Williams: Big-Screen Blockbusters’ concert
Composer John Williams has written the musical scores for blockbuster films that are known world-wide. On March 13, the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra will perform some of his greatest works, from mega-hit movies such as “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” “Star Wars,” “E.T.,” and “Jurassic Park.”
As part of the Pop Series of concerts, the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra will present “John Williams: Big-Screen Blockbusters.” Under the direction of Pops Conductor Michael Krajewski, two performances will take place at Calvary Orlando in Winter Park, at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The evening will feature highlights from multiple Academy-Award winner Williams’s vast repertoire, with tickets starting at $30.50. Attendance will be limited to allow for appropriate distancing within the large concert site, and facial coverings will be required throughout the performance.
