PARKsaver: Sam’s Club offers discounted Disney gift cards plus Disney Store bonus

Column by Derek Burgan

You can get a nice Disney discount at your local Sam’s Club store, as well as a bonus $10 gift card for use at any Disney Store location or DisneyStore.com.

A $100 Disney gift card can be purchased for $98.87 at Sam’s Club. This gift card can be used at participating locations including Walt Disney World, Disneyland, the Disney Cruise Line, the Disney Store locations in the U.S., DisneyStore.com, DisneyPhotoPass.com and Adventures By Disney. With the $100 Disney gift card comes a bonus $10 shopping card that can be used at Disney Store locations in the U.S. as well as DisneyStore.com.

If you are a Disney Visa cardholder and are planning a Disney World, Disneyland, or Disney Cruise line vacation, you should consider buying a $100 Walmart gift card at your local Walmart using your Disney Visa credit card. This will give you a Disney Reward Dollar.

The $100 Walmart gift card can then be used to purchase the Disney gift card at Sam’s Club. The $10 bonus Disney Store shopping card can then be used to purchase some Disney merchandise to get you ready for your trip. There is no limit on how many you can buy, so the savings can really add up. Every penny counts when it comes to maximizing your vacation money!

  1. “Printapons” is a deal-of-the-day website that is localized if a certain number of people sign up for the offer, then the deal becomes available to all; if the predetermined minimum is not met, no one gets the deal that day.

  2. The Sam’s Club in my area (AZ) said they only carry this item at holiday time/ None of them have it now. Any suggestions?

  3. Paula – No Sam’s take Visa (other than Visa debit) but all Sam’s take Walmart gift cards which can be purchased with a Disney Visa. My Sam’s Club is directly next to a Walmart, which makes this process even more convenient!

Jesse – I would just keep checking. It seems that there is no hard and fast rule when it comes to these cards. Some Sam’s seem to always have them, and some are like yours. It couldn’t hurt to talk to a manager and ask if your store could keep them in stock since it is clear they are available.

  4. Thanks for the SEO suggestions! I am having a trouble, wishing someone right here may response it. Look, I attempted ‘on web page seo’ on my blog, as well as finding one way links. However I am still not finding any seen benefits!

  5. Can you use a walmart gift card purchased with a Disney Visa to buy Disney giftcards though? I’m not familiar with Sams. Most places do not allow you to purchase gift cards with gift cards.
