Photo Finds: A last look at The Magic Of Disney Animation

This week we take one last look around The Magic of Disney Animation. The attraction closed on July 12th. Even though it went through many changes since opening in 1989, it has always been a guest favorite.
I opened the park in 1989. I was the 12th tour guide to do the catastrophy canyon tour and production tour. When the production tour closed I went to animation and talked with Mulan and did the tour of the animation building. I retired in 2008. I met Roy Disney Jr. when he came to see the Animation Academy. It was a great job; I grew up with Walt Disney movies and movies in general, having an uncle who was a projectionist and a husband who was and managed theaters. I will miss the Animation building. And thank you for an Excellent, Informative tour of the building…it will not be forgotten!!
