Photos and videos from Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade production

An annual tradition is the broadcast of the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade. The show is taped in advance at Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Park, and it’s always great fun to spot production in progress in various locations across the resort.

The castle has been brightly themed with additional holiday decorations for the show.

One of the performers this year is Academy Award winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson. Video below.

Main Street USA also has some additional decorations and production equipment for recording of the parade itself.

The Confectionary has a stage, surrounded by presents.

The Emporium also has a stage and presents.

And this stage is right at the foot of Main Street.

All of the Town Square park was closed off, and filled with production equipment.
