Planet Fitness Orlando is looking for dancers to help set a Guinness World Record for the largest Macarena on April 29.

This event has been postponed until further notice.

More than 2500 people are expected to “shake it to break it” on April 29 as they help Planet Fitness Orlando set a new Guinness World Record for the “World’s Largest Macarena Dance.”

Registration is now open to the public for the free Planet Fitness “Shake It To Break It” world record attempt, which will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 29, at the Orlando City Stadium, home of Orlando’s professional MLS and NWSL soccer teams.

“At Planet Fitness, we’re all about bringing the community together for a great time, whether they’re working out at one of our clubs or joining forces to dance the Macarena at a staple venue in the city,” said Anthony Roberts Jr., Marketing Manager for Planet Fitness Orlando. “Orlando is such a strong community already, and we think this is the perfect opportunity to bring everyone together for a day of fun that’s sure to be one for the books – the Guinness World Record book to be specific!”

Orlando City Stadium gates will open to the public at 10:30 a.m. EST on April 29. The event is open to the public and free to attend, but participants are encouraged to register online in advance. By registering online, participants are guaranteed a spot at the Guinness World Record event and will be entered to win a year-long Black Card membership to Planet Fitness. The first 1000 online registrants will also get an exclusive Shake It to Break It maraca.
