Pop-up Pokemon bar coming to Orlando this October

It’s time to catch ‘em all, Orlando! A real-life pop-up Pokemon bar is coming Oct. 12, bringing fans the chance to catch pokemon, evolve them, and win points in a themed setting.

UPDATE – 10/16/19: Due to licensing issues with Nintendo, the PokéBar pop-up in Orlando has been canceled.

“Due to these licensing issues, we have concluded that we do not feel that we would be able to deliver on the quality of [the] event we aim to always give our customers. We apologize and have already issued all of our customers’ full refunds,” said a spokesperson for the event.

There will be a variety of pokemon to catch at the Pokemon bar, which will be hosted at Castle Church Brewing, spanning the different regions. Players can collect pokemon from all the regions for a chance to be named the very best, like no one ever was.

Tickets to the pop-up are $45, and include a Pokemon-themed burger and a themed drink, along with entertainment that includes trivia, live DJs, prizes for best costume and more. Limited tickets are available and will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.

You can get tickets to the pop-up bar now at ThePokeBarPopUp.com, or directly from the event’s official Eventbrite page.
