Walt Disney World began selling a Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass, available now until May 24, 2024, with no blockout dates.

It might be the fall season, but fun in the sun continues in the Orlando area with the new Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass, allowing guests to splash into the Walt Disney World water parks repeatedly until the summer of 2024.

Water parks provide a refreshing way to cool off during the hot summer. Of course, it stays warmer longer in the Orlando area, and if you’re willing to visit a water park outside the summer months, Walt Disney World has a deal for you.

Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass

For $79 ($73 for children ages three to nine), guests can visit as often as they like with no blockout dates. With a standard one-day ticket costing around $69, this pass is an excellent deal if you plan to visit the Walt Disney World water parks often in the next eight months

Disney states on its website that the pass is valid for Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon OR Disney’s Blizzard Beach, whichever is open. At the time of writing, Typhoon Lagoon is operating and Blizzard Beach is closed; however, based on wording on the Disney website, we would expect Blizzard Beach to open soon, with Typhoon Lagoon closing for refurbishment during that time.

One Disney Water Park at a Time

In theory, both Walt Disney World water parks could be open simultaneously, but the continued pattern of Walt Disney World (starting in 2022 when the Disney water parks slowly reopened), has been to alternate the operation of its water parks.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon reopened in January 2022, and closed in November 2022 when Disney’s Blizzard Beach reopened with new “Frozen” fun. Then, Disney’s Blizzard Beach closed again, with Typhoon Lagoon re-opening.

Other Details

No matter which Walt Disney World water park is open, plenty of fun can be had with this pass. Remember, parking is free at the Walt Disney World water parks and park reservations are not required to visit the Walt Disney World water parks.

The water parks can be closed for cold weather, which guests should factor into purchasing the new Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass. For more details, please consult the Disney website.
