Florida Anime Experience returns to Orlando for fifth year

The anime and cosplay fan-base gets bigger and bigger every year, and from April 24-26, Florida Anime Experience will celebrate that culture in Central Florida.

Started in 2011, Florida Anime Experience is a three day pop culture event celebrating anime, manga, cosplay, fashion and video games. The event boasts unique celebrity and industry guests plus hours of programming for fans of Japanese culture and entertainment.

Entertainment at the convention includes an anime viewing room, manga library, Japanese video game room, fan and industry panels, Japanese culture panels, Maid Cafe Mikkusu, costume contests, dance parties, and much more. This year’s convention boasts the event’s largest collection of guests ever. Scheduled to appear are: Brina Palencia (Ciel from Black Butler,) Spike Spencer (Shinji from Evangelion,) Tiffany Grant (Asuka from Evangelion,) Trina Nishimura (Mikasa from Attack on Titan,) the Anime 3000 Network, Anime Addicts Anonymous Podcast, Al Aki, Anime America Podcast, Anime World Order, Black Star Anime, Dahlia Thomas, Dream Fantasy Theatre, Envy Us Cosplay, Gundamn! Podcast, Nerd Bunny, Noise Complaint, Orange Anime, SSAA Podcast, and local rock band S.S. Hanami.

This is the convention’s fifth year in Central Florida and it will take place April 24-26, 2015 at the Park Inn by Radisson Resort & Conference Center Orlando. Events begin at noon on Friday and run through Sunday at 6 p.m. Ticket prices are $20 for Friday or Sunday, $25 for Saturday, or $45 for all three days.
