Many props from the recently-closed Tower of Terror attraction will go up for auction, like this hotel floor indicator.

This auction features over 800 pieces of Disney memorabilia, which includes items like early original paintings used in the design of Sleeping Beauty Castle, props used in the recently-closed “Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror” attraction at Disney California Adventure, an extremely rare “Rainbow Caverns” attraction poster, and an original 1967 “Autopia” car body.

Other highlights from the auction include original signage from the “Haunted Mansion” attraction, a collection of “Golden Horshoe” memorabilia from 25-year performer Fulton Burley’s estate, an original sign from the “Country Bear Jamboree” attraction, and an actual wheel from a Disneyland train, to name a few.

This rare 45-year service award will be among the Cast Member exclusive items going up for auction.

There are also more unique items going up for auction, including an original metal Cast Member ID badge, a rare Disneyland 45-year Service Award, a Disneyland Opening Day press preview ticket, and a complete set of furniture from a Grand Californian hotel room.

“This is a very special collection because most of the items in it come from people that actually worked at the park, or had a hand in creating it,” said Mike Van Eaton, co-founder of Van Eaton Galleries. “They are sharing their memories with us through their stories, and through this amazing collection.”

This collection also includes items from Walt Disney World, Epcot, Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disneyland. These items span from vintage souvenirs, records, and original artwork to costumes, signage and other items from the earliest days of the Disney Parks.

Since 1955, Disneyland has influenced pop culture and helped to mold generations of dreamers and Disney enthusiasts around the world. Fans and Disney collectors alike will not want to miss the chance to get their hands on some of the most desired collectibles to date.

“It is a true testament to the people of the park and the vision of Walt Disney,” said Van Eaton of the collection. “We are thrilled to be able to bring it all to public and host this very special auction.”
