Colombian-American opera singer Mateo Blanco helped Ripley’s Believe It or Not Orlando Odditorium unveil three of his unique paintings – made entirely of sugar!

It’s Blanco’s unusual choice of media and amazing skill that caught the attention of Ripley’s. His pop culture interpretations include The Hulk, Captain American and Iron Man, and Neytiri from the “Avatar”.

Blanco was inspired by the works of art made to celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi and he actually uses an ancient, historical technique.
