Rise of the Resistance opening date announced for Walt Disney World, Disneyland

It’s official – Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance now has an opening date at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World’s versions of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

At Walt Disney World, the ambitious new attraction will open on Dec. 5, which many Disney fans will recognize as Walt Disney’s birthday. At Disneyland, the ride will make its debut on Jan. 17, 2020.

Once open, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will “blur the lines between fantasy and reality” as it puts guests right in the middle of a galactic conflict between the Resistance and the First Order.
