Rosen College hosts 8th Annual Cabaret & Cabernet event on April 22

The public is invited to attend Cabaret & Cabernet at the Rosen College on April 22 and support the the school while enjoying fine food and wine in a Steampunk setting.

The University of Central Florida Rosen College of Hospitality Management is holding its 8th Annual Cabaret & Cabernet event, “Discovery,” at the Rosen College Campus on Saturday, April 22, 2017, from 6 to 10 p.m. Rosen College’s Cabaret & Cabernet, or Cab & Cab, is a completely student-run fundraising event for the school. April 22nd will mark the 8th production and the first that production responsibilities fall to Ron Logan’s Entertainment Arts and Events class.

The event is held on UCF’s Rosen campus and encompasses an overarching theme as well as several sub-themes. Cab & Cab focuses on various forms of entertainment as well as providing various wines for tasting paired with four courses of tapas-style meals. This event is open to the public, and generally attended by professionals in the entertainment, event, and hospitality industries, as well as UCF Faculty, staff, students and their families.

This year’s Cab & Cab includes four courses of tapas, wine tastings, and a variety of entertainment. Guests are encouraged to dress in Steampunk style, with prizes awarded for the best and most creative outfits.

Tickets for the event are $25 for students, $40 for general admission, or $75 for VIP, and can be purchased at this website.
