SeaWorld and Busch Gardens reveal new roller coaster logos, announce 2016 events

SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa have released their calendar of events for 2016 and revealed the official logos for their new coasters.

Mako will be the tallest, longest, and fastest coaster in Orlando when it opens in 2016. Above, you can see the new logo for the attraction.

In 2016, all events, festivals and concerts at SeaWorld are included in park admission. Next year’s lineup includes the following family-friendly events:

Wild DaysSaturdays and Sundays, Jan. 16-31
Wild Days connects guests to the wild and wonderful world we all share, with educational and interactive shows that give guests the opportunity to meet leaders in the world of animal rescue, rehabilitation and preservation.

Bands, Brew & BBQSaturdays and Sundays, Feb. 13 – March 6
Bands, Brew and BBQ is back for 2016 and sizzling with live concerts and delicious favorites from SeaWorld’s restaurants. In partnership with the USO of Central Florida, the celebration also salutes America’s military.

Praise WaveSaturdays, March 12-26
With the return of Praise Wave, guests can celebrate Christian fellowship and fun at SeaWorld Orlando. Live concerts from the hottest names in faith-based music will light up the stage at Nautilus Theater.

Viva la MúsicaSaturdays, April 16 & 23 and May 7 & 14
Viva la Música is a Latin music and food festival for the entire family. Guests enjoy concerts by popular Hispanic artists and bands, and authentic Latin flavors specially prepared by SeaWorld’s very own executive chef, Hector Colon.

Summer NightsEvery night, June 11 – Aug. 14
As the summer sun goes down, the fun heats up. Summer Nights festivities feature a high-energy Shamu show, celebrations and late-night thrills on everyone’s favorite coasters.

Halloween SpooktacularSaturdays and Sundays, Oct. 1-30
SeaWorld Orlando’s Halloween Spooktacular immerses families in an underwater “fantasea” filled with trick-or-treating, whimsical characters, sea-themed activities and up-close animal encounters that could only come from SeaWorld.

Christmas CelebrationSelect Dates in Nov. and Dec.
Waves of holiday spirit splash over SeaWorld Orlando during its Christmas Celebration, where guests can make holiday memories by enjoying live shows, festive shopping and delicious food.

From now until Jan. 5, 2016, SeaWorld is offering guests a $30 saving on annual passes. These passes offer the greatest value with unlimited admission, free parking and discounts throughout the park.

Busch Gardens Tampa has announced a line-up of events scheduled to run now through 2016, along with a special offer that expands the value of the popular Florida Fun Card.

With the 2016 Fun Card, guests pay for one day and get all of 2016 free. Plus, as a special offer commemorating the Fun Card launch, guests who purchase their 2016 Fun Card now can also visit Busch Gardens for the remainder of 2015 for no additional cost, including the Christmas Town event.

Christmas Town: Select dates Nov. 27-Dec. 31
Unwrap a beautiful family tradition at Christmas Town, where Busch Gardens transforms into a holiday wonderland of Christmastime entertainment and attractions, holiday shopping, treats and more than a million twinkling lights. This family event occurs on 20 select dates from Nov. 27 to Dec. 31.

2016
NEW! Cobra’s Curse
Busch Gardens puts a spin on family thrills in 2016 with Cobra’s Curse. This one-of-a-kind spin coaster features a 70-foot vertical lift. Come face-to-face with an 80-foot snake icon, trek over the park’s Serengeti Plain and discover the mysteries of an Egyptian archeological excavation. Real Music: Jan. 4-March 5
Busch Gardens’ longest-running concert series returns Mondays through Fridays from Jan. 4 to March 5 with live music that spans six decades, from the 1950s to today. Musical fare includes swing, blues, pop, jazz and rock ‘n roll. Lineup includes:
• Jan. 4-9: Ricky Nelson Remembered featuring Matthew & Gunnar Nelson
• Jan. 11-16: Jay and The Americans
• Jan. 18-23: Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone

Food & Wine Festival: Saturdays and Sundays March 5-April 24
Next spring, Busch Gardens’ Food & Wine Festival returns with wild flavors and concerts for every taste. The park will be tempting guests with a variety of cuisine, wine, craft beer and live entertainment on Saturdays and Sundays from March 5 through April 24. Food and beverage is not included, but is available for an extra fee.

Summer Nights: Select dates June – Aug.
Summer Nights at Busch Gardens is returns with more heat, featuring an end-of-night show packed with live musicians, singers, dancers and artists from around the world. Plus, summer nights are a great time to cool off with the rush of Busch Gardens’ world-class thrill rides.

Jack Hanna Weekend: Sept. 10 & 11 (dates subject to change)
Join “Jungle Jack” Hanna for two days of wild animal shows, autograph signings and special meet-and-greets when he visits Busch Gardens. The internationally-known animal expert will share animal facts and his travel tales during animal shows at the Stanleyville Theater.
