Named for and founded by the NFL’s “most-winningest” coach, Don Shula, Shula’s Steak House now features an aesthetic that pays homage to him and gives the restaurant a sense of identity.

The back wall of the Orlando Steak House location now highlights the three stages of his career: celebrating a record-breaking 325 wins, his first Super Bowl win to finish out the only undefeated season in NFL history, and his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame – all through three framed, large-format images. In addition, the hallway now has inset wall spaces that showcase Coach Shula’s career timeline.

The restaurant’s bar and lounge space has been expanded and now offers a three-sided, wraparound bar.

“It made sense for the Orlando location of Shula’s Steak House to be the leader in the new direction for the brand,” said Bill Freeman, CEO of Shula’s Restaurant Group. “This location is one of our best-performing, and its prime spot in one of the most popular tourist destinations will give guests from around the world the opportunity to experience our updates firsthand.”

Shula’s updated menu, which launches on May 15, was overseen by the new executive corporate chef, Demetrio Zavala.

The menu offers a selection of top-quality USDA Prime and dry-aged steaks, served with classic sauces and butters, including sauce bordelaise, horseradish cream, and truffled butter.

Seafood selections can be found in many of the appetizer options, like Maryland-Style Crab cakes, served with remoulade sauce and citrus-sorrel salad. Salads are also available, like the restaurant’s take on the traditional Wedge Salad, which features tomato jam with bleu cheese and applewood-smoked bacon crumbles.

Sides include Potato Gratin, three-cheese Macaroni and Cheese, and Sautéed Mushrooms and Steamed Asparagus with béarnaise vinaigrette.

A new wine tower was also added in the refresh, which highlights Shula’s Steak House’s wine program and offers beverage pairings with the new menu.

“It is an honor for the Orlando location of this great brand to be the first establishment to reveal the changes,” said Luciano Sperduto, director of food and beverage for the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. “Shula’s Steak House has been a staple of this iconic resort’s food and beverage program, and we look forward to many years of continued success together.”
