Legoland theme park celebrates one-year in Florida

Today, Oct. 15, 2012, marks the one-year anniversary of the opening of Legoland Florida. Park guests enjoyed thousands of free brightly colored cupcakes, birthday buttons and a prize patrol team that passed out gifts such as free food, model shop tours, admission tickets and annual passes. Time flies when you’re having fun. That old saying has never been truer than at Legoland Florida. It’s almost been a whole year since Central Florida’s newest theme park opened. To help celebrate their first anniversary, they’re offering half-price tickets to visit on their birthday, Oct. 15, 2012, plus a prize patrol and free cupcakes.
