‘Happily Ever After’ nighttime spectacular replaces ‘Wishes’ at Magic Kingdom starting May 12

One of Walt Disney World’s favorite fireworks shows will “glow away” after May 11, as Wishes has its final performance at the Magic Kingdom to make way for Happily Ever After, a new nighttime spectacular debuting on May 12, 2017.

‘Celebrate the Magic’ castle projection show now showing nightly on Cinderella Castle – Full video

The new Cinderella castle projection show, “Celebrate the Magic” debuted last night at Magic Kingdom. The new show, while similar to “The Magic, The Memories and You!”, has all-new music, storytelling and special effects.

Disney debuts World of Color with Mickey ears that Glow with the Show, plus new Brave segment

Guests at Disney California Adventure park now have the chance to light up the night with new Glow with the Show Mickey ear hats. During the nighttime entertainment such as World of Color and Mad T Party, the new Glow with the Show ear hats interact with their surroundings.

Merida from ‘Brave’ coming to Magic Kingdom – Plus other character changes

Starting mid-May, guests at the Magic Kingdom will have the opportunity to meet and greet, Merida, the heroine from the upcoming Disney-Pixar movie Brave, which hits theaters on June 22, 2012. Merida will appear in Fairytale Garden in Fantasyland which will be transformed into a setting inspired by her Scottish Highlands home.
