Trip Report: Kings Island celebrates the season with Tricks and Treats Fall Fest

I think we can all agree that 2020 has had enough “horror” for the year, so when Kings Island, just like Cedar Point, decided to celebrate things a bit differently this year, it was understandable. There are no haunted houses, you won’t find jump scares and screams lurking at every corner, there is a distinct lack of fog pouring out into the streets. Gone are the monsters of years past. This year things are much more… festive. This year we are doing the Kings Island Tricks and Treats Fall Fest.

Trip Report: Dorney Park disappoints when it comes to safety

Well, it finally happened. Eleven parks into my road trip, and I am finally advising skipping a park. Most of the parks I’ve been to — from Lagoon to Hersheypark — have been great. Every other Cedar Fair park I’ve visited, they all felt safe. Dorney Park, however, managed to crush my expectations and destroy my opinion that all Cedar Fair parks were handling this well, because, honestly, they aren’t,

Trip Report: Worlds of Fun reopens to guests

Worlds of Fun is the first Cedar Fair park to open since the entire world closed down — so, is it still fun? Is it safe? Is it even worth visiting with all the new measures being taken? What are those new measures? As I headed to one of the smallest parks in the Cedar Fair chain, I was excited to find out.

As some U.S. theme parks delay openings to mid-May, some in Asia reopen

As the current global health crisis surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to be evaluated, Cedar Fair announced today their parks would be delaying their reopening even further. Although this is happening in the U.S., with possibly more delays on the way, it appears that some theme parks in Asia have started to reopen their doors.
