Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture presents exclusive Disney costume exhibition

After a long year of closure and reduced in-person programming, the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) in Seattle, Wash. is looking forward to the June 6, 2021 debut of Heroes and Villains: The Art of the Disney Costume, a Disney costume exhibition that has never been seen outside of Disney’s D23 Expo.

Kids and adults might not always see eye-to-eye, but everyone agrees that toys are fun and Disney is magical, so it’s great news that the newest Disney-themed toy collection – “Choose Your Journey” featuring Disney Princesses and characters from “Star Wars” – will be available in McDonald’s Happy Meals through April 26, 2021 (while supplies last).

Cinderella Castle being revamped for Magic Kingdom’s 50th Anniversary

Cinderella Castle is undergoing yet another revamped look, this time for the park’s 50th anniversary. Last July, we looked at the brand new rose gold color scheme which was completed during the park’s extended closure. Now, Cinderella Castle is getting ready for even more paint and decorations as the big 5-0 gets close. These shots, from Bioreconstruct on Twitter, give us an up-close look at the changes being made.

Last summer, Cinderella Castle in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom got a rose gold-themed makeover for the resort’s 50th anniversary. Now, the castle has the first of many “EARidescent” embellishments for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”
