Disney’s Animal Kingdom shares update on animal care during closure

To assist in reducing the spread of the ongoing virus, Wild Florida Airboat, Gator & Drive-thru Safari Park will not close entirely, but rather alter some of its offerings in order to encourage social distancing among guests.
While the theme parks continue to stay closed in the U.S., some fans have taken it upon themselves to create a bit of fun at home with “Homemade Disney” and “Homemade Theme Park.”
After first saying they would stay open, the Disney Company has now made the decision to close their retail stores, as well as Disney-owned and operated stores and restaurants at Disney Springs and Downtown Disney and all their resorts starting later this week, because of coronavirus (COVID-19) .

Tokyo Disney Resort announced today they are closing until at least March 15, joining Disney’s other parks in Asia, which have also closed temporarily as the coronavirus continues to spread.
Earlier this week, Shanghai Disneyland closed as a precaution against the spread of the coronavirus in China. Now Hong Kong Disneyland park has joined Shanghai, and has closed until further notice. Unlike in Shanghai, only the park has closed in Hong Kong. The resorts remain open.
