The final addition to New Fantasyland is gearing up to open as work on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train comes to an end, giving guests a look at the entire mountain. We were able to ride it as part of a special media event put on by Disney. UPDATE: The ride will officially open on May 28, 2014.

Examining and listing the spell cards of the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game at Walt Disney World

The new Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game is currently testing at the Magic Kingdom park at Walt Disney World. It’s a role-playing, trading card game which has guests trying to defeat Disney Villains who are working to take over the theme park. Armed with magic spells in the form of special cards, players must go to the magic portals throughout the park that lead them to the animated villains’ hiding places.

By casting different magical spell cards, guests can do battle with Yzma, Scar and other ne’er do wells hiding throughout the land. From fireballs to frantic frogs and cyclones, there are spells to bring down each and every villain. But just how many different spell cards are there? (UPDATE: Disney has confirmed there are 70 different cards) And how can you collect them all? Below we’ll tell you all we know about the game and try to compile a list of all the cards. [Read more…]

Full tour of Legoland Florida – A look at all the attractions, stores and restaurants

Legoland Florida officially opens in a few days on Oct. 15, 2011, but a lucky few have been getting previews of the park. We went to the park yesterday as a guest for one of two AAA member previews. Cheetah Hunt roller coaster track is complete, theming continues

Installation of the final section of Busch Gardens’ upcoming launch roller coaster, Cheetah Hunt, was completed at 9:30 p.m. Monday night. Workers were perched above the cables of the Skyway as they fastened on the final piece of track. [Read more…]
