At Disney’s D23 Expo in Japan, new details were announced and concept art shown for the new Avatar Land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and separately, a new nighttime show was announced for the park.

SeaWorld Parks is kicking off their 50th anniversary with a year-long celebration featuring new shows, more up-close animal encounters and a Surprise Squad treating guests with prizes every day.
The Entertainment Designer Forum is coming back to the Orange County Regional History Center for the fourth year in a row on March 8, 2013. It will feature some of the top creative minds behind Central Florida’s theme parks giving panels, talking to fans and auctioning off rare theme park memorabilia for charity.
Earlier today, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment announced an addition to the parks, “Madagascar Live! Operation: Vacation,” will be an original live musical show featuring the characters from DreamWorks Animation’s Madagascar franchise. The show will debut this Summer at both Busch Gardens Tampa and SeaWorld San Diego.
For the first time ever, Disney’s Magic Kingdom will be open for a full 24 hours from 6 a.m. Feb. 29 to 6 a.m. March 1, 2012 in honor of Leap Year. During the day, the parks will offer their normal schedule with attractions, parades, fireworks, and characters, but there will be a few extra…
Island Nights at Adventure Island water park in Tampa has returned. From 5 to 9 p.m. every Thursday, Friday and Saturday until Aug. 13, guests will enjoy island music, authentic entertainment, and unique food offerings.
From June 10 to Aug. 20, Wet ‘n Wild will host their Summer BBQ Beach Bash every Friday and Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering entertainment and food in addition to their rides and attractions.
Disney has been testing some new entertainment options at Downtown Disney for the past few weeks. It seems the Celebrate Tonight show in Pleasure Island which featured DJs and stilt walkers is no longer running. There are some new entertainment options in the area.
