Photo Update: Castle of Magical Dreams nearly complete at Hong Kong Disneyland

Hong Kong Disneyland has had a bit of shaky summer with re-opening, closing and opening again. But, even with outside issues the park has continued work on their massive castle remodel, titled “Castle of Magical Dreams.” Thanks to Disney Magic Kingdom Blog, we are able to see the nearly finished product.

Hong Kong Disneyland reopens to guests for the second time

On Sept. 25, Hong Kong Disneyland reopened its doors to the public after a second temporary closure due to COVID-19. Along with local authorities and medical experts, the park is reopening with new standards in health and safety measures.

Hong Kong Disneyland may be temporarily closed, but construction work has not stopped. Thanks to shots by Hong Kong Main Street Gazette on Instagram, we got these incredible views into the park. Along with working on construction projects like the “Castle of Magical Dreams,” the park has also been preparing to reopen.

Hong Kong Disneyland joins Shanghai in closing because of virus outbreak

Earlier this week, Shanghai Disneyland closed as a precaution against the spread of the coronavirus in China. Now Hong Kong Disneyland park has joined Shanghai, and has closed until further notice. Unlike in Shanghai, only the park has closed in Hong Kong. The resorts remain open.
