Disney held a special premiere event for Disney+’s new original series, “The Mandalorian,” last night at the El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles, Calif.
For the first time ever at D23 Expo, Lucasfilm will host its own pavilion on the show floor, featuring a display that showcases the evolution of Star Wars stormtroopers. The exhibit will include many of the actual costumes used on-screen throughout the films.
Robert Downey Jr., Jon Favreau, Bette Midler, as well as James Earl Jones, Kenny Ortega, Diane Sawyer and more will be honored as Disney Legends during this year’s D23 Expo for their contributions to the Disney legacy.
Today at Star Wars Celebration Chicago, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni and Kathleen Kennedy hosted a panel introducing the world to “The Mandalorian,” a new live-action Star Wars series coming to Disney+ this November.
A celebration inspired by Disney’s “The Lion King” is coming to Disney California Adventure this summer.
