For the first time in more than 30 years, NASA is allowing Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex guests inside the Launch Control Center – where NASA directors and engineers supervised all of the 152 launches for the space shuttle and Apollo programs.
After 27 years of service, 39 missions, 246 astronauts carried, 365 days in space and 148,221,675 miles traveled, space shuttle orbiter Discovery is departing Kennedy Space Center for the last time. Guests will be able to be apart of the farewell celebration from April 14 through 17, 2012 at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

Star Trek Live, a new interactive stage show made its worldwide debut at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. It will be presented five times a day in the facility’s 300-seat Astronaut Encounter Theater for a limited time.
