About 2,500 people attended the first Gay Days Anaheim in 1998, but now the mix-in event attracts over 30,000 guests to the Disneyland Resort. This year’s Gay Day Anaheim is taking place Sept. 17-19, 2021, with a jam-packed schedule that includes screenings, lectures, and discussions with stars including Jake Borelli (Levi on “Grey’s Anatomy”) and Broadway legends Audra McDonald and Chita Rivera.
For the event’s fifth year, the Museum of Illusions will be hosting “Illusions After Hours” for the first time. Saturday June 12 from 10 p.m.–1 a.m. guests over 18 can enjoy over 50 illusions, with some themed around pride.
Nothing can keep a Disney cast member down for long, including the gut-punch of furloughs and lay-offs during a global pandemic. Instead, they’re creating businesses of their own.
To celebrate Pride month, Universal Orlando has released a new rainbow-themed collection, available both in the park and at Universal CityWalk.
The annual GayDays LGBTQ event began on May 30th this year, and once again is the premiere vacation experience for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community, thanks to a weeklong celebration full of events, and its inclusive and welcoming environment.
