Walt Disney World is rolling out MagicBand orders to all passholders throughout March. You may or may not get an e-mail from Disney letting you know your MagicBand is ready to be customized and ordered. So we’ve put together step-by-step instructions on how to see if you are able to get your free MagicBand yet.
With Walt Disney World’s latest tests of their new MagicBands, accessories for the wristbands are now on sale at select resorts. Later this year, the MagicBands, a part of Disney’s MyMagic+ system, will replace guest’s tickets, room keys and more.
Disney has been testing various parts of their MyMagic+ system for the past few months, but today marks the first time the system, including MagicBands and Fastpass+, will be tested end to end with guests.
Disney has officially released information on the next generation of their FastPass system and other enhancements they’re calling MyMagic+. The new system is said to give guests a more personalized vacation through the use of a new wristband called MagicBands.
