Merida, Disney•Pixar’s first princess from the film “Brave”, was officially crowned as the 11th Disney Princess in a coronation ceremony held in front of Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom today, May 11, 2013.
Merida, Disney/Pixar’s first princess from the film “Brave,” will be officially joining the Disney Princess family at a special ceremony taking place at the Magic Kingdom.
Disney On Ice will present its newest show, Rockin’ Ever After, featuring Ariel, Rapunzel, Belle and even Merida. It will all take place at the Amway Center in Orlando this September with tickets now on sale.
Starting mid-May, guests at the Magic Kingdom will have the opportunity to meet and greet, Merida, the heroine from the upcoming Disney-Pixar movie Brave, which hits theaters on June 22, 2012. Merida will appear in Fairytale Garden in Fantasyland which will be transformed into a setting inspired by her Scottish Highlands home.
