2020 was a year we soon won’t forget in the themed entertainment industry. Theme parks worldwide shut down, and some are still closed. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse finally have their very own attraction at Walt Disney World, as Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is now officially open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Walt Disney World is rolling out the red carpet and live streaming the dedication of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway on March 3!
Viewers can tune in for the “World Premiere” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios beginning at 7:25 p.m. ET on the Disney Parks Blog, which you can watch below.
In this new family adventure, guests go through the movie screen inside the park’s re-creation of the Chinese Theatre and into the world of the current “Mickey Mouse” cartoon shorts. There they discover why “mouse rules apply” and anything can – and does – happen!
With an original “Mickey Mouse” story by Walt Disney Imagineering featuring the new song “Nothing Can Stop Us Now,” Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is a celebration of Disney heritage and a showcase for state-of-the-art storytelling and attraction design.

Today was the first official day of cast member previews for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This new trackless ride, which takes the place of The Great Movie Ride, promises to put guests in the middle of Mickey’s new wacky world.
