2020 has been full of surprises. One of the wildest is that a bunch of users on TikTok came together to create a musical of the 2007 animated Pixar film, “Ratatouille.” What is even wilder is that it not only went viral, but that Pixar, Disney, and Broadway even acknowledged it. Even with major delays and cutbacks to Walt Disney World construction this year, Epcot’s France pavilion expansion moves forward. The highly-anticipated trackless dark ride, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, was supposed to open this summer. Construction was brought to a standstill for weeks at Walt Disney World admist lockdown orders in Florida due to the ongoing pandemic. Over the course of those weeks, we noticed that construction equipment wasn’t even being moved at Epcot. But now, work has begun again on the biggest renovation in Epcot’s history.
