Following a recent uptick of Covid-19 cases in Orange Count Florida, Walt Disney World has updated their face mask requirements. They have announced all guests must wear masks at all indoor locations starting July 30.
As people across the world hope for a COVID-19 vaccine to be ready and distributed as soon as possible, what could that mean in terms of the changes we’ve seen in the theme parks so far? Will guests and employees still be required to wear masks? Will plexiglass still separate you from the row in front on your ride vehicle? Will your party still need to stand on a sticker six feet away from another party? The short answer? No one knows yet – or has announced plans for these circumstances.
Effective today, July 27, face masks are now required when visiting Holiday World, following an executive order for the State of Indiana.
Legoland Florida Resort has been the one major theme park to not require all their guests wear face masks. With a new city ordinance, that’s now changed, but their rules are still less stringent than Central Florida’s other parks.
