SeaWorld is featuring some brand new shows for their holiday celebration this year, as well as some old favorites. Here’s a highlight video telling you a bit about each holiday attraction.
In “A Sesame Street Christmas” the holidays have arrived, but Abby Cadabby has never heard of Christmas. Elmo, Big Bird and other Sesame Street friends teach her about the holiday. Following the show, families can meet some of the characters.
“Clyde and Seamore’s Countdown to Christmas” offers a similar plot with some comedy. Clyde and Seamore have never met Santa Claus and need to be taught all the Christmas traditions – including getting stuck in traffic on I-4 on the way to the mall. Yes, the mime still entertains before the show and is dressed in a holiday sweater.
Shamu Stadium comes alive with bright lights and glowing candles as Christmas carols abound and Shamu splashes to celebrate the holiday season during “Shamu Christmas … Miracles.”
Guests can take a trip to the North Pole via The Polar Express. Classic scenes from the movie are recreated in a multi-sensory experience immersing passengers in special lighting, scent, sound and motion effects. Santa and some animal friends will be waiting once you arrive.
Here’s a look at Holiday Reflections, one of the best fireworks shows in Orlando.
Be sure to arrive a bit early to Bayside Stadium, not just to get a good seat for the end-of-the-night shows (The lower floor is better for watching the fireworks.), but to hear some great Christmas songs sung by Return 2 Zero. Disney fans may remember them as “Four for a Dollar” when they performed before the Beauty and the Beast show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
SeaWorld’s Christmas shows are now showing daily through Jan. 3, 2010 and are all included with admission.
