How Disney World’s new Minnie Vans compare to Uber, Lyft and taxis

Minnie Vans have launched at Walt Disney World.

Uber and Lyft are both well known chauffeur style services that are giving taxis a run for their money. Well now it seems Walt Disney World is wanting to enter the world of private transportation with their new “Minnie Vans” service.

The Rumor Queue: Disney’s Skyway to return as resort transportation?

I have to remind myself that most park-goers can’t get around by flight like me (owls admittedly do walk when our wings are tired), but perhaps that will change in the near future. Credit where credit is due: fans on the WDWMagic forums discovered permits and structures that seem to indicate Disney intends using a skyway-type system as a means to transport guests around Walt Disney World Resort. International Drive trolleys and stops getting an upgrade

I-Ride Trolleys are rolling out a new fleet of 15 trolleys equipped with state-of-the-art automated vehicle location systems (AVLS) known as NextBus.
