During the holiday season, hundreds of thousands of travelers will make their way to and from Belfast International Airport in Northern Ireland. This year, guests will have to double-check their boarding passes, as the airport has been re-named “Westeros Airport” in honor of the Blu-Ray and DVD release of “Game of Thrones” Season 7.
As previously reported by Blooloop, “Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire,” the hyper-reality experience created by Lucasfilm and ILMxLAB, is set to open in Westfield, London alongside Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort this December.
Silvergate Media, which co-owns and manages the licensing for the animated “Peter Rabbit” TV series in the UK, has announced that the show will expand into new live events and attractions after the success of their programming.
Over the course of its ten years on set, the “Harry Potter” films had over 25,000 costume pieces created for the eight productions. Beginning with over 600 Hogwarts school uniforms, the costumes eventually developed into more extravagant pieces like Hermione’s Yule Ball gown, Professor Slughorn’s lilac pajamas, and Gilderoy Lockhart’s professor’s robes.
After a long day of walking around the “world” at Epcot, guests now have the option to stay and unwind after the park closes instead of heading straight to the exit.
