Two ‘first of their kind’ water slides to debut at Great Wolf Lodge Georgia

Two new concept slides are making their debut at the indoor water park at Great Wolf Lodge Georgia: Rapid Racer and Triple Thunder.

These two new slides are not only new to Great Wolf Resorts, but are also one-of-a-kind slides developed by slide manufacturer ProSlide.

The Triple Thunder slide is a group raft ride that will combine two thrilling water park attractions into one exciting slide. The ride will start by plummeting guests down a steep drop and into a funnel, where they will experience feelings of weightlessness as the raft moves up and down the funnel walls.

 

Once they exit the funnel, the raft will speed toward two saucers, where guests will hurl along their banks and swirl 180 degrees and exit through a narrow passageway, all in the dark. A few extra twists and turns will await before riders make their final plunge into a catch pool at the bottom of the slide.

Rapid Racer is a two-person tube racing slide that will feature drops, chutes and serpentine curves.

 

As riders emerge from the 180-degree and 360-degree banked curves, they will enter a section with open racing lanes where they can see and hear their competitors on the opposite side of a low separator wall. The slide will also feature three rally points where guests can see their competition as they both travel down this water attraction.

The resort will also feature an outdoor resort pool with additional water attractions for families to enjoy together. Great Wolf Lodge Georgia will also debut with an exclusive, adults-only oasis adjacent to the outdoor pool, complete with a private hot tub and chaise lounge chairs.

An overnight stay at Great Wolf Lodge Georgia will include two days of play at the indoor water park, and standard rates start at $199.99 per night.
