New details revealed for ‘Villainous,’ all-new ‘World of Color’ show

This Halloween season at the Disneyland Resort, the party is moving over to Disney California Adventure – and with it comes a brand-new “World of Color” show titled “Villainous”.

The new nighttime spectacular will debut during the first-ever Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, an event for guests of all ages. The party will feature exclusive new experiences, entertainment, and the debut of “Villainous”.

The show, exclusive to the Oogie Boogie Bash, will tell the tale of a young girl named Shelley Marie (an all-new character). In “Villainous,” Shelley has to make a decision about this year’s Halloween costume, and begins to question if she could really be as strong as her favorite Disney Villains, including The Queen, Ursula, Dr. Facilier, Jafar and Maleficent. 

This twisted tale takes Shelley on an exciting journey with fountains, lights, lasers projections and other special effects. By the show’s end, Shelley will have learned that there’s a little villain in all of us.
