‘Viva La Música’ returns to SeaWorld San Diego this summer

SeaWorld San Diego guests can spice up their summer with the return of Viva La Música, which will feature four weekends of live performances, special culinary offerings, a live DJ and community dancers.

Included with regular park admission, Viva La Música will take place on weekends May 4-5, May 11-12, May 18-19 and June 1-2.

Concerts will be held at the park’s newly renovated Nautilus Amphitheater. The Latin music series will also feature a festival area called the Zócalo, located between Wild Arctic and Penguin Encounter. The Zócalo will offer performances by community dance groups and a live DJ. As for food, fish tacos, street tacos, nachos and pupusas (thick cornmeal flatbread, typically stuffed with beans, cheese, chicharrón and squash) will be available here.

  • May 5 – Pancho Barraza
  • May 11 – Lupillo Rivera
  • May 12 – Pesado
  • May 18 – Chiquis with special guest Luis Coronel
  • May 19 – La Séptima Banda with special guest El Dasa con Mariachi
  • June 1 – Régulo Caro
  • June 2 – Los Rieleros del Norte with special guest Kevin Ortiz

Concerts will be held at 3:30 and 6 p.m. each event day at the Nautilus Amphitheater. While they are included with theme park admission, a wristband is required to attend. Wristbands will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the plaza near Explorer’s Café when the park opens.
