100 Reality TV stars join Hearts of Reality event to benefit Give Kids The World
Over 100 reality stars from hit shows such as “Amazing Race,” “Survivor,” “Big Brother,” and “Sy Fy’s Face Off,” will be joining the eighth annual Hearts of Reality event taking place in Celebration, Florida from August 11 through 13, to raise funds for Give Kids The World.
Give Kids The World Village (GKTW) is a 70-acre, non-profit resort in Central Florida that creates magical memories for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. GKTW provides accommodations at its whimsical resort, donated attractions tickets, meals and more for a weeklong, cost-free fantasy vacation. During this three-day Hearts of Reality event, guests will be able to meet, socialize and party with their favorite reality stars.
“We are delighted that the Hearts of Reality television stars will once again share their time and talents with our precious wish children,” GKTW president Pamela Landwirth said. “Their participation helps bring awareness and critical funding to our mission of creating the happiness that inspires hope for children battling life-threatening illnesses.”
The event, hosted by Lexin Capital/Celebration Town Center, offers a chance to take pictures with and get autographs from the reality stars for a $50 donation to GKTW, which also includes a commemorative autograph booklet. A $75 special combo ticket will also be available which gives admission to the autograph signing and to the 80’s themed party on Saturday night, where there will be Survivor Karaoke, food, drinks and more. The party will also be open to the public for a $50 donation and those tickets will only be available at the door the night of the event and based on availability.
Participants scheduled to attend Hearts of Reality include: Boston Rob (Survivor winner & Amazing Race contestant), Sandra Diaz-Twine (2-time Survivor winner) Tyler Oakley & Korey Kuhl (The Amazing Race/ Youtube stars), Mark Long (MTV Personality), Caleb Reynolds (Survivor & Big Brother), Joey & Kelsey (Amazing Race winners) and many others.
The reality stars will also raise donations personally through their social media sites by asking fans, friends, followers, and family for donations to this great cause. Some also raise money through skype chats with fans and by selling personal items and memorabilia.
