MegaCon 2016 to feature special events, celebrities and more
This year’s MegaCon is coming up this weekend at the Orange County Convention Center from May 26 through May 29, with guests such as William Shatner, Stan Lee, John Cusack and many more set to appear.
MegaCon will also feature several special events, including:
• Harry Potter fans unite. Hogwarts alums Tom Felton, Jason Isaacs, and the Phelps twins come together on the same stage on May 27th at 7:30 p.m. for a special reunion. Make sure to get your tickets before this event sells out.
• Celebrate 50 years of Star Trek with rare appearances from the original cast. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet William Shatner, George Takei and Nichelle Nichols.
• Meet Stan Lee, legendary creator of Spider-Man, X-Men & Iron Man. Stan Lee will be signing autographs & posing for photo ops Friday through Sunday.
• Jay & Silent Bob Get Old in Orlando. Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes are back and ready to share their stories on stage in a special event on May 28th at 8 p.m.
• Meet the original dynamic duo at MegaCon on their 50th Anniversary Farewell Tour. Be sure to attend a special Q&A on May 29th as Adam West and Burt Ward take the stage to reminisce and take questions from the audience.

Panels/Q&As
Daily panels with industry pros, who will answer fan questions about their experience and upcoming projects. Check out the schedule at MegaConvention.com.
Artist Alley
This is an area for anyone interested in meeting rising stars and the people who work the front lines of the industry. Here you’ll find it all – comics, graphic novels, limited edition prints and original art and sketches.
Shopping/Exhibitors
Over 1,000 unique vendors will be available, ranging from comics, anime, gaming, science fiction and/or horror.
Costume Contest
This event features creative fans showcasing their original costumes derived from the comic, sci-fi, horror, anime and fantasy worlds – all on stage for a chance to win bragging rights.
Kids Zone & Family Lounge
For parent(s) with kids under 12, the Kids Zone and Family Lounge is a quiet corner to get away from the crowds for a bit. There will be many activities for kids including Lego play stations, art and crafts tables and a reading nook. *Note – this area is not a daycare service; all children must be with an adult at all times.
Star Wars Events by the 501st Legion
It will be a busy weekend with Panels, Workshops and all kinds of Star Wars themed activities. The Stormtroopers will provide something for the eye with an elaborate booth and photo opportunities throughout the weekend.
Speed Dating
Back by popular demand, speed dating is returning to MegaCon. This is a way to meet and get to know your fellow fans – and maybe meet someone special in the process. Mixed genre sessions all day Friday, Saturday & Sunday. On site sign up only. This is a 19+ event.
