A Universal Christmas jingles its way into Universal Studios Singapore
From November 23, 2022-January 2, 2023, Universal Studios Singapore will light up with Christmas magic during its seasonal event, A Universal Christmas.
From “Santa’s Circus Extravaganza” to live shows and character meet-and-greets, the park’s holiday transformation to a Santa’s Spectacular Circus theme is filled with snowfalls, Insta-worthy photo ops, games, and a very merry parade.
A Universal Christmas events included with park admission:
“Santa’s Circus Extravaganza” – Ringmaster Santa leads an ensemble of 40 performers and yuletide-inspired floats in a parade to Santa’s Big Top, where Illumination’s Minions and DreamWorld Animation characters Po, Tigress, Poppy, Branch, and Guy Diamond, plus other favorites, await.
The procession and its accompanying snowfall take place nightly, starting November 30.
Gingy’s Sweet Meet and Greet – New to Universal Studios Singapore is Gingy the Gingerbread Man from DreamWorks Animation’s movie, “Shrek.” Guests can meet and interact with Gingy as he lends a hand helping Pastry Pat set up a bakery filled with Christmas treats.
Gingy and Pastry Pat will also pose for photos with guests at Far Far Away’s Milk Bar Stage.
Live entertainment – Several performances will take place in the park. Watch for Santa’s Starlets belting out Christmas tunes on Mel’s Diner Stage as they compete to be Santa’s next big stars; Polly The Polar Bear Princess; The Christmas Ribbon Extraordinaire by Ruby; and Festive Flame Lighter of Farrah.
Let It Snow with Santa – Dance under a magical snowfall along with Santa’s Snowgirls and the silly Snowmen.
“Festive Circus Acts” – Join Santa and his festive Superstars of the Circus in “Festive Circus Acts” and marvel at the Unicyclist Elf’s tricks, the Peppermint Plate Spinner, and the Toy Solder stilt-walker, each of whom perform throughout the day.
Holiday meet-and-greets – Snap a selfie with the Minions, or with Poppy, Branch, and Guy
Diamond from “Trolls,” Po and Tigress from “Kung Fu Panda,” Shrek and Princess Fiona from “Shrek,” and favorite “Sesame Street” characters Elmo, Big Bird, and Grover.
Jolly Games Booths – Test your skills at three carnival challenges, including Blockbuster, Rebound, and a special version of basketball.
Merry merchandise – Purchase gifts themed to Hello Kitty, “Sesame Street,” and other favorites.
Santa’s Wonderful Treats – Sweet and savory treats are available for purchase during the event.
Adult one-day admission to experience Universal Studios Singapore’s world-class rides, shows, and A Universal Christmas are S$98 ($70.05 U.S.) and one-day child admission is S$78 ($55.75 U.S.). A Universal Studios Singapore Christmas Treats voucher and retail voucher are included with each admission ticket.
