During February, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort honor Black culture through cuisine, with offerings inspired and created by Disney cast members. While special menu items can be found across Walt Disney World Resort, the Disney Springs restaurants feature some unique food options.

All special menu items will be available for the month of February.

“Celebrate Soulfully” menu items at Disney Springs include:

Soul Petit Cake at Amorette’s Patisserie ($22.00) – This chocolate chiffon cake decorated for the movie “Soul” contains dark chocolate mousse, raspberry pate de fruit, and white chocolate crispy pearls.

Chicken Jambalaya Dog from B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. ($11.99) – Chef Twon created this distinctive menu item in honor of his mother, who raised twelve children and therefore used creative cooking strategies to feed the children tasty and reasonably priced meals, including chicken jambalaya stew served over rice. That family meal received a reinvention by Chef Twon as the Chicken Jambalaya Dog, consisting of smoked sausage, roasted corn, and lemon caper aioli on a Tuscan roll. This menu item functions as a fork and knife meal, not a handheld item.

Chicken on the Egg ($15.00) and Fried Sweet Potato Pie ($10.00) from Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar – Chef Dee created two options for Disney Springs guests: The Chicken on the Egg involves buttermilk fried chicken pieces placed on deviled eggs with a drizzle of hot honey sauce, and the Fried Sweet Potato Pie features a sweet potato-filled pastry and spiced cinnamon sugar with a maple bourbon sauce drizzle and roasted pecan crumbles.

Jamaican Jerk Chicken Poutine from The Daily Poutine ($10.49) – Chef Kima created this menu item as a nod to her family’s history in Jamacia, with sweet ‘n’ hot jerk-marinated chicken, pineapple salsa, scotch bonnet aïoli, and fries. For those concerned about the spice level of this poutine, we thought it rates low for jerk chicken.

Soulful Sweet Pralines from The Ganachery ($10.00) – This tribute to the movie “Soul” contains pecan pralines covered in custom dark chocolate with designs based on the musical instruments and decor featuring Joe from the movie.

The Soulfully Chef Special from The Polite Pig ($19.00) – Guests ordering this meal receive a plate with deep-fried pork belly, pikliz, house-made beef empanadas, and avocado aioli.

Candied Yam Cannoli ($7.50) and Carver’s Peanut Butter Explosion ($19.00) from Vivoli Il Gelato – The Candied Yam Cannoli starts with a crispy Italian shell filled with sweet ricotta cheese and candied yams and topped with pecans. The Carver’s Peanut Butter Explosion is a peanut butter milkshake with a chocolate drizzle, whipped cream, and a piece of chocolate peanut butter cake on top.

Local Green Orlando Food Truck – Year-round, this food truck serves quality vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian menu items such as the Monsta Shrimp Burger and the Rappers Delight Salmon Philly. For “Celebrate Soulfully” in February, this food truck will be located near the entrance to the Orange Garage.
