Hogwarts in the Snow returns to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London with even more snow

Fans of the Harry Potter films can get into the festive spirit with the return of Hogwarts in the Snow to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter!

For the first time ever, from Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020 – Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, guests will be able to explore another of their favorite sets in the snow as Diagon Alley undergoes a wintry transformation.

New for this year, the cobbled stones and magical storefronts of Diagon Alley will be given a holiday makeover as they’re draped in filmmaking snow. Though it wasn’t seen in the snow in the films, the same set was used for parts of Hogsmeade where viewers saw Harry use the invisibility cloak to join the school trip without permission.

A fan-favorite, the Hogwarts Castle model will also be transformed with snow again this year. Inside the Great Hall set, guests will be welcomed with wreaths, garlands and trees topped with witches on miniature broomsticks. The long dining tables will be dressed as they were for the seasonal feast in “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” complete with SFX flaming Christmas puddings and prop versions of roast turkeys and hams studded with cherries.

What’s more, many of the other sets housed at the Studio Tour will also get a holiday makeover. The Gryffindor Common Room and Boys’ Dormitory will be decorated with original props including handmade Christmas cards, some of which were crafted by the cast during production. Fireplaces throughout the Tour will be “lit” with special effects fire.

Hogwarts in the Snow runs from Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020 through Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021. Tickets must be booked in advance, and all extra features are included in the ticket price.
