Construction has begun on Everest Place, a development near Walt Disney World, featuring shopping, dining, and several hotels, including Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts.

Everest Place will be a multi-use development with 783 condominiums, 793 hotel rooms, and 900 rental apartments, plus 20 acres of commercial and retail space and an additional 12 acres reserved for a recreational water park, all with easy access to Disney theme parks. The project also includes a park, a lake with a waterfront boardwalk, and multi-use and nature trails.

The $1B+ development will be built in phases (with phase one already in progress) on 224 acres near Walt Disney World Resort at the intersection of US Route 192 and State Road 429 highways.

The Everest Place website describes the location as follows:

The planned site is located amidst renowned attractions and parks, and it stands out as one of the rare accommodations that can provide a genuinely distinctive luxurious experience. Its strategic location near SR 429 and US-192 makes it ideal for its intended purpose. Moreover, the property is conveniently located just three miles north of the SR-429 and Western Way intersection, which serves as the new western entrance to Walt Disney World.

Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts

The two Nickelodeon-themed resorts in Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and Riviera Maya (Mexico) offer accommodations, activities, and amenities themed to popular characters like Dora, Paw Patrol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Spongebob – and even the chance to get slimed at the pool.

No specific activities or experiences have been announced for the Orlando property, but we look forward to learning about character dining and meet-and-greet opportunities that will be available.

  1. Interesting…

I’d love to see a Nickelodeon Resort with multiple resort hotels, a retail and dining complex similar to Disney Springs, two theme parks, and a water park!

Maybe a Nickelodeon resort with multiple hotels, a theme park, and a waterpark might happen in Central Florida like maybe in the Orlando area close to the Universal Orlando Resort along with other Nickelodeon theme park resorts in other parts of the US like Southern California in the San Diego area and Texas in the Galveston area and Virginia Beach in Virginia and even Myrtle Beach in South Carolina and other US locations!
