Six Flags America, Six Flags Magic Mountain place bets on MLB playoffs

Six Flags America and Six Flags Magic Mountain have placed their bets on the upcoming MLB playoff game between the Washington Nationals and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

UPDATE – 10/11/19: Round two of this park vs. park bet has begun! The Nationals came out on top, and so did Six Flags America. The win over the Dodgers means that Six Flags Magic Mountain has to rename their Twisted Colossus roller coaster in honor of the Nationals during Fright Fest, and the park president has to wear the team jersey around the park for a weekend.

Now for the National League Championship Series, Six Flags St. Louis and Six Flags America are going head-to-head. Six Flags St. Louis will be rooting for the Cardinals and Six Flags America will continue to root for the Nationals.

If the Cardinals lose, Six Flags St. Louis will:

  • Rename the Blood Bank Lounge to Nationals Blood Bank Lounge
  • Have bartenders wear Nationals jerseys
  • Serve Nationals Blood Bag drinks and add some Nationals décor to the space
  • Put Nationals hats on the skeletons at our front mall skeleton section
  • The Park President has to wear a Nationals jersey 

If the Nationals lose, Six Flags America will:

  • Rename Firebird after the Cardinals
  • Fright Fest sliders will wear Cardinals gear
  • The Park President has to wear a Cardinals jersey

This game will begin at 8:08 p.m. Eastern tonight. Stay tuned for who wins!


Six Flags America will be rooting for the Nationals and Six Flags Magic Mountain will be cheering for the Dodgers to win when the game takes place tonight.

If the Nationals win the playoff series, Six Flags Magic Mountain will have to rename the Twisted Colossus roller coaster for the winning team. Should the Dodgers win, Six Flags America will rename the Firebird roller coaster for the team. In addition, the losing park’s president will have to wear the winning team’s jersey for a day.
