We’ve brought you coverage of the yearly Megacon at the Orange County Convention Center before (Here and Here). Megacon was already held this year, but now they’re trying something new, a summertime Mini Megacon. So don’t expect the huge amount of celebrities, toys, comics and collectable booths as shown above, but it should be a good time anyway.
Mini Megacon is being held tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 22 (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Sunday (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Scheduled to appear are many of the stars of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV show, quite a few pro wrestling stars and comic book guests. There will also be a costume contest on Saturday, an Indie Film Expo, quite a few exhibitors and more.
The cost is $22 on Saturday, $19 on Sunday or $36 for both days. Kids $10 and under are free.
You can find out more and see the full schedule at megaconvention.com.
