New ‘Terminator’ VR experience heads to Dave & Buster’s

by Brittani Tuttle

VRstudios has announced its latest exclusive virtual reality (VR) experience for Dave & Buster’s – “Terminator: Guardian of Fate.”

This action-packed experience features Linda Hamilton returning as the voice of Sarah Connor, and is now available to play nationwide. Players will be thrust into a dangerous rescue mission alongside Sarah Connor as they come face-to-face with the deadliest Terminator yet.

When a Terminator arrives in their local town, players must jump to action alongside Sarah Connor and her team to stop the deadly force from destroying a target that is needed for the future of the Resistance. Players must outrun and outsmart the Terminator to keep the target safe and ensure her escape. Sarah Connor will guide players along the way as they fight in a zombie-style shootout against the Terminator, which will stop at nothing to attack the players’ vehicle and cause tons of destruction in its wake.

Players will never have the same experience twice, and another chapter of the game will be released soon that adds multiple endings and terrifying new surprises. Along with featuring iconic character Sarah Connor and original characters created for this experience, the VR game also features four randomized player avatars and a variety of weapons and upgrades to use against the robotic menace.

“We have really created something very special with ‘Terminator: Guardian of Fate.’ This is an all-out adrenaline-fueled interactive experience that is a roller coaster of intensity,” said Chanel Summers, VRstudios’ vice president of creative development. “The Terminator is the ultimate movie monster and just when players think they have destroyed it, it comes back! The action is so relentless that you will barely have time to catch your breath!”
