Yoda merchandise that’ll hold you over until ‘Baby Yoda’ shows up

So you’ve seen every episode of “The Mandalorian” on Disney+ so far, and you just can’t get enough of the 50-year-old baby with no name that fans have dubbed “Baby Yoda.” But no merchandise with his likeness has showed up yet. What will you do?

Well, we scoured the Disney Parks and found a few items that just may pass as “Baby Yoda.”

Above is a look at “Baby Yoda” from “The Mandalorian” for reference. Unlike the Yoda we know, this baby has large pupils, little whites of the eye, and brown eyes instead of green.

These Yoda dolls for sale in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort are your best bet to pass off as Baby Yoda. They were made to represent how the villagers in Batuu thought Yoda looked based on legends they’ve heard, but the black dot eyes best match the baby’s large pupils.

This set of baby toys has all the characters looking younger. Although he has large green eyes here, his features do look more like a baby.

This Yoda headband will give you Baby Yoda ears if you just trim away all the grey hairs.

This Loungefly purse is perfect for pretending it’s Baby Yoda because he has his eyes shut. He looks wrinkly, but take another look at Baby Yoda above – he’s wrinkly too.

How about some Yoda Mickey Ears? Hmm, the eyes just don’t look big enough.

Here’s a talking Yoda that moves, including his facial features when he talks. Alas, he doesn’t make baby cooing noises.

This one is a backpack, so Yoda can ride on your back just like he did on Luke’s. You can cut off his grey hair, and use a black marker for his eyes and he just might look like Baby Yoda.

Nope. This sculpture for sale in Galaxy’s Edge just doesn’t look like Baby Yoda.

If any of this looks good to you, besides the first doll and sculpture, which are available in Galaxy’s Edge at both resorts, the rest of the merchandise is available at various stores around Disneyland and Walt Disney World, including Downtown Disney and Disney Springs. We recommend the Star Wars Galactic Outpost at Disney Springs West Side for all your Star Wars merchandise.

If you’re looking for official merchandise from The Mandalorian, that can be found at various Disney locations as well. Here’s a display at Disney’s Hollywood Studios:

As for when official Baby Yoda merchandise will show up, places like Hot Topic and Box Lunch, as well as various online retailers should get some first. Disney Stores, shopDisney, and the Disney Parks are expected to get them sometime before the December holidays.

As to the question if this old baby is a clone of Yoda, we will just have to wait and see. It’s possible his species eyes change color as they grow older. It’s happened with human babies.
