Theming and dance party highlights from Legoland Florida’s first Brick or Treat

Legoland Florida is hosting Brick or Treat each weekend in October. The event features candy, Lego building, dancing and the Miniland area has some added Halloween theming. It’s all included with park admission.

One of the events is pumpkin carving, Legoland style. Kids can build their own pumpkin from bricks, and enter the pumpkin into this patch for judging later in the evening.

Families can also go trick-or-treating along the Brick-or-Treat trail.

Along the trail are witty Lego-themed tombstones.

Larger Halloween figures are also seen along the trail.

Look out for that spider!

Halloween figures and scenes are also found among the areas in Miniland itself.

It’s fun to search the scenes and find what’s been added for Halloween. Find all the candy corn Legos and see what they spell.

Kids also enjoy searching for the Travelocity Gnomes in the Cypress Gardens section.

Brick or Treat runs on Saturdays and Sundays in October. Legoland normally closes evenings, before sunset. However, on Brick or Treat Saturdays, the park is open until 9 p.m. It’s a rare opportunity to ride the attractions and see the park at night. We have video to share of the party at night. It’s great fun, dancing claw hands in the air with Legoland characters.

One of the last events of the night is awarding prizes — these huge gift baskets — to winners of the costume contests.
